hi,bee on lowcarb for a while.started adding carbs back.maintained my weight untill i changed my working routine.i used to jog/run for 20min 3 times a week.then moved to TAEBO an hour 3X/week.Then, started BILLY'S ULTIMATE BOOTCAMP EVERYDAY 1HOUR.gained 4lbs since i started the new workout (2weeks).my thighs r toned.my butt isgetting there.but why am i gaining?should i change my diet?eat less carbs maybe?

No, your doing great! Your just gaining muscle. Muscle is more dense than fat, and therefore, weighs more. Don't worry about it!

You are probably gaining muscle, I wouldn't worry about it too much as long as the inches are coming off (inches never lie!)

Also, low carb diets tend to backfire when you start adding them back on...beware..

I would start counting calories instead of carbs

excess blood sugar gets stored in skeletal muscle and in the liver at about a 1:3-1:4 ratio. so for every molecule of glucose that gets stored so does 3-4 molecules of water. when you increased your carb intake your body stored the excess blood sugar in the liver and in skeletal muscle as glycogen. this is perfectly normal.

this is also one of the reason why monitoring your body fat is so important. when you see weight gain in see that your body fat hasn't changed those ever fluctuating numbers on the scale become meaningless.
