I need to lose lyk 70 pounds i am 15 weigh 250 and 6'. How long would it take to lose..And also how do i walk/run alone in the morning. My neighborhood is not dangerous at all. It just that i don't want all the neighbors to see me! And should i lyk get an ipod?

I have a membership at LA fitness but i never go cuz i am to embarrased...and i want to also walk after school..but i am not worried cuz my neighbor will come with me

you should start the gym or running, because people usually do that...
after all that's your heal not theirs... isn't it?

how long depends on your diet. you need to up your protein intake and decrease your carb intake. this forces the body to utilize more fatty acids for energy. shoot for 45% protein, 35% carbs (30 grams of fiber daily) and 20% healthy fats (olive oil, nuts and seeds).

a good brisk walk in the am is a great idea, try to walk for at least 30 minutes. you should hit the gym after hours when it's less crowded. you need to find when the off peak hours are at your gym most clear out by 7 pm. you could hit the gym for 1.5 hours several nights a week. each session of exercise increases insulin sensitivity so the more exercise sessions that you get over the course of the week the better.

Well, since you're over 200 lbs, you'll probably lose a considerable amount of weight at first. Then, you'll probably be stuck at a plateau where it'll become really difficult to reach your goal. You just have to stick to it and eventually you'll get your results. Remember, you have to be really dedicated to it since you're doing it completely by yourself without the help of any hardcore diets or diet pills. Getting an iPod would probably help you a lot, too. Usually people get really into their music and forget about anybody else around them.

Dude,

Run. Run really fast. Do intervals. Jog for like 2 minutes, run your tail off for like 1 or 1.5 mins, and then jog again.

It hurts and is painful, but I'll burn more fat than you think. You want to burn fat after you are done running, not just during.

Also, eat well, and get your rest

go to the gym. At first, it's intimidating, but you get used to it. Everybody at the gym is there for same reason.

And yeah...get an iPod. :)

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!

Why can't you do it after school? Or are you just worried about people seeing you? Maybe you could ask your parents for a treadmill if you are really worried about it. Getting an ipod would probaly help though. I think it's much easier to work out when you have music to listen to. Good luck!

You know its not easy to lose your weight. But their's a possibilities to burn your fat. Yeah walking and running can help you but it is not only walking and running also you need to eat a balanced diet you may go to any gym if you have frre time or if your not busy.Also you must avoid eating some fatty food also junkfoods.

If you really want to lose weight fast, run. Walking really doesn't do much. It's for old women with bad knees. Run a mile a day for a start. If your consistant, you'll lose weight, and eat healthy and regularly.
