Where is this info. coming from? How can there be a new Earth if its burning? it really don´t make any since to me, so, please, fill me it?

from my understanding, there is no torture, those who reject Jesus, will no longer exist...sure there will be a fire, but its to burn away all the old so the new can come to replace it :)

This comes from people misunderstanding or misinterpreting the Book of Revelation.

Consider this:

Even though our world has been opened to sin and evil, God is still present, and works to keep the worst of the influence out our our lives.

Yes, individual people can let themselves be taken over by evil desires, but that is their choice. Satan is allowed to influence people, but even his powers are limited by God's presence.

People under the influence of Satan, and even Satan himself, would rather have God out of the picture.

The final outcome of the world as we know it, is that the physical earth, perhaps the physical universe itself, will be destroyed (by fire).

Those who choose to follow God will be removed from the physical world, and placed in a new "earth", a "New Jerusalem", where places have been prepared for us.

Those who chose to follow something other than God get their wish, a place without God, that ultimately gets destroyed, along with the physical world.

Because the physical world will be going away, it is quite possible that we who survive will no longer be physical beings any more. I have no clue what form the new earth and new Jerusalem will take, but it is bound to be something that is perfectly suited for us.

The God I know is not into torturing or wantonly punishing his children. I think much of this fear was created by the early church to try and force people to behave themselves. I don't agree with that at all. We should be good because we love God, not because we fear him. We learn from our own fathers love and teaching, not from his anger and reprisal. And so it is with God. The ultimate father.
