I really depends on your diet.
Are you eating alot of greasy foods?
I'm not sure if I am reading your question right, but you are saying that you are going more often?
If you had your gal bladder removed you will see an increase in your bowl movements.
Check with your DR.

Different people have different pooing schedules - some go daily, some every other day, some every third day. All of these can be normal - it depends on the volume and kind of food you eat, and how much waste material comes from each kind. If you're getting cramps, however, this is not normal. It might be irritable bowel syndrome (spastic colitis), usually caused by stress. It could also be colon cancer - a tumor partially blocking the normal flow.
I had all the symptoms of spastic colitis over a period of three months - then things got worse, and I was diagnosed with colon cancer. Fortunately, the tumor was removed and I am cancer-free. Others, who wait too long, are less lucky.
Two weeks of symptoms is long enough to warrant a visit to the doctor. He/she should do an occult blood test on your poo, then perhaps a barium enema and/or a colonoscopy. Don't wait - your chances of a complete cure of colon cancer - if that's what it is - are much higher if it's caught early.
You might Google "spastic colitis symptoms" and "colorectal cancer symptoms" on the Web and see if they fit your situation. Good luck

im not a Dr but I can tell you that there are many factors to this. Are you Lactose intolerant? A change in diet also can have an effect. A menstrual cycle as well . As long as blood is not being passed I would not be to concerned with 2 extra poos a week. Heck I go that many times a day. =)

Think about what has changed in your dietary behavior since you have noticed the poo changes. Most likely, youll find the culprit for the cramps by finding the latest change.
Are you drinking enough water? Try to sip on fluids regularly, and it might smooth the process over.

There is no "right" pooping frequency. Has there been a change in the size and/or shape of your poops? If so, that can be a big red flag, as it can be indicative of a colon or rectal problem. Do you take any supplements? Iron can bind you up in dosages that are too high, and so can some painkillers. If you've changed any supplements or meds you take, that could be indicative, as well.

Apparently your body has not accustomed itself to the increase in fiber due to the oat bran you've recently been eating. Don't worry unless the cramping persists for about another week. If it does it could be you aren't exercising enough or getting enough protein to balance the extra fiber intake. If neither, then you should see a doctor and consult him/her about your diet.

Maybe you should Try eating more fiber. Fruits, veggies and grain should help. You can also take cleansing vitamins, not laxative, to help clear you out.
Try wheats or cereals high in fiber and 1 or more apples a day or things like that.

NO REASON to be embarrassed......there isn't a person on here who DOESN'T GO.......okay? First off, it is more normal to go once a day -- sometimes more. You aren't saying your age -- are you ready to maybe start your period???? We can't answer well without knowing more about you......but don't be embarrassed. The president of the US is not only one but he DOES IT TOO!!!

Any change in diet, exercise or fluid intake? Does the cramping happen during your movement or before or after?
