I've been playin tennis at least 3-4 days a week since May, and just a few weeks ago i started getting shin splints in my right shin, and now just today my left leg is getting them to (i am right handed) I was at the docor yesterday getting fitted for orthodics...he said that would help because the bones in my feet aren't coming together and forming hard when i step and that is causing leg promblems. The orthodics will most likely correct this, but i was just wondering what i could do in addition to strengthen my shins/legs

Ask your doctor if doing gentle stretches could help with easing these shin splints. Also, ask your doctor for a consultation with a podiatrist (a doctor that treats diseases and disorders involving the foot) if you haven't already to see what they suggest.
