I'm 13 and I have school tomorrow so I want a good breakfast that will keep me pretty full. I want to have some of my kashi cereal, but I only have like a 1/2 cup left so I'm going to combine it with some either original or light yoplait yogurt. What else should I add? fruit(i have bananas, apples, pears, and grapefruit), toast, eggs, orange juice, etc.? Thanks for suggestions :)

Does this sound like something that would be good to add- whole wheat toast with natural peanut butter or a banana or apple with penut butter, or should I just not use the natural peanut butter, lol :)

you need more protein. each meal should be protein based. kashi is great stuff but it doesn't provide enough protein. cook up 2-3 large egg whites, they are only 15 cals a piece

you don't need anymore carbs in that meal, there is plenty in the cereal and milk.

an apple and some peanut butter would be a great snack between breakfast and lunch or lunch and diner.

well hey! i'd be the one to ask! im in a nutrition class right now!
-if you want a good source of protein, id go for the egg.
-if you want a good source of fiber, id go for the toast(wheat if you have it!
-if you want some calories:which will be good 4 energy, go for yogurt.

p.s.: i think its awsome you ice skate. i used to figure skate and i loved it! i wana get back into it soo bad!

good luck! ♥

you should probably have egg whites (protien) with spinich on top (vegtables) then you should have light yougurt (low-fat dairy) with some golean cereal on top (carbohydrate)
