I just watched the movies back to back and they are really amazing, i was just wondering what sort of martial arts or fighting style he uses ? espec in the 2nd movie when he is in the bank and avoids those cops ?

short answer its escrima(matt damon said it himself in the extras)
long answer its probably heavily based on escrima but its a mix of many different styles known as "movie fu" to appeal to the viewers and isnt a "pure style"
however it looks a lot like krav maga

The joint locking techniques look like over exaggerated small circle jujitsu moves along with some aikido. Of course, everything is done Hollywood-style to make it "look good".
