Strangely,I have read transcripts of many of his interviews and it is difficult to find fault with his logic and in all frankness he never actually seems to lie. He's really a very impressive man. It is unfortunate that he feels justified in using violence but he is responding to extensive exposure to it,particularly in Afghanistan in the '80's. If it were not for the violence and brutality of his organization I would be quite open to idea that the people of the Mideast could justify considering him somewhat of a saint. And I certainly don't consider him a devil. Far more Muslims have died in U.S.-stimulated wars than died on 9/11. He does feel his cause is justified, and his means. Cause yes, means no. Besides,he is alienating world sympathy for the Arab cause. Not a saint, not a devil - just a very strong-willed and intelligent man with unfortunately a battle-hardened background that renders him capable of extreme ruthlessness.

There are many fallen angels who incarnate.
As for saint or sinner, well if he's done more harm than good by taking peoples lives when no human should end anothers life.
There is light in darkness and darkness in the light.
I'd probably vote that he aint a saint.
