The way you can prove to your girlfriend that you won't break her heart is that you got to let her know that she means everything in your life to her and give her something she likes or take her somewhere she loves. If she says you had you chance then just tell her that everyone deserves another chance and make sure that for this last chance you aren't checking out any other girls and she catches you. Sounds like shes already moved on, normally when a female does that prior to you not doing anything wrong means theres someone else already in her life and that shes using it as an excuse to go out with someone else.
But if shes genuine in her sediments means you have done something in the past to support her actions. In that case persistance and keeping noble to what she wants is all you can do, for some people they use an extended amount off time to test you and see whether your committed to the relationship by testing over a period off time.

Have you ever seen a Knights Tale? In the movie the guys asked the girl how he could prove he loves her. There was this big tornament for knights and the girl told him to lose. He lost for her and it was really sweet. then half way through the girl told him to win and he won.. i really liked that. Ask her what you can do to prove to her that you wont break her heart. Then you will know for certain she will believe you if you do the thing that she asks

Just show her you're serious about being her guy. If you stay honest with her and focus on her instead of flirting with other girls, she'll see you really want to be with her and have no intentions of breaking her heart. If there was anything bad that happened in the past, let her know it wont happen again.

I read the answers you got so far they didn't seam to helpful. I love things like this. It really depends a lot on the girl. Be honest was there a reason she came to this conclusion. How many girls have you broke up with. if your willing to take time on this don't get another girlfriend for a while tell her your waiting give her a ring and tell her you wont go with someone els unless she does or unless she gives it back. be sincere

There's really no way to prove it to her unless she gives you another chance. If she's not willing to give you another chance, your best bet is to tell her you care for her very much but that you respect her decision, and you hope someday she will change her mind. Then let her go. By respecting her wishes and doing what she asks, you are showing that you don't want to hurt her. That's pretty much all you can do, until she decides she is willing to start a relationship with you again.

Actually woman can't help you at all. Women really and truely have no clue what they actually want. They say they want the nice guy but if you are that nice guy the dump you.
In reality she left you and that's a good thing. Let her go and find someone else. Don't deal with women who are so sensitive like this, they aren't worth the headache.

im a girl and to tell u the truth-girls can never be sure if a guy is telling the truth. you have to REALLY prove to her how great of a guy you are (if you really are! lol-which you probably are if you are still going after her) and show her you wont let her down...
look into her interests, and do it. like if shes a poet, write her a poem. if she likes art, draw her a picture of her or something. etc.. good luck

Just look her in the eye, and talk to her. Don't be a coward and tell her online or over the phone. Don't do it in front of her friends. It's better to be direct than never try. If she still doesn't believe you, she's not worth the time. You're a sweet guy for trying, though...

well wat u can do is tell her to give u a chance and to atleast have achance to prove the many ways u wont break her heart like take her out dont be afraid to buy sumthing she want talk to her.try to find something in common.but she'll eventually have the the feelings she once had 4 u again and be convinced that ur not just sum guy that will break her heart.
