I love eating marshmallows especially when you put them a stick and roast them over a fire. Lately I was wondering do marshmallows make you fat up to a point to make you gain weight. I am 5'7 and weight 183 lbs. Also is weighting 183lbs consider fat, because I don't look like I am fat, but is it too much weight for a 22 year old woman...

183 might be a little heavy for that weight, but its all in how its distributed over your body and what your build is like. As for the marshmallows, its not really the marshmallows but the net calories you take in in a day that determines whether you are putting on weight. Almost all food these days comes with a calorie count on them, a good number to shoot for is 1200-1400 a day depending on male/female, active/not-active... all that stuff. Basically, eat healthier and eat less and you'll probably start dropping some weight. And if you cut back on other bad food, I am sure that a few marshmallows now and then will be fine.

Well, Marshmallows are pure sugar, so.... yes, they can make you gain weight. Eating marshmallows is equivalent to eating spoonfulls of sugar.

Marshmellows do not contain fat, however they contain sugar which turns to fat in your system. How much of a weight gainer it actually is, im not sure.

you are five foot seven? i'd say you are a TAD overweight.
marshmallows are yummy but don't eat too much otherwise you WILL gain weight
