No, but I received one from the guy who is now my husband. He gave it to me when he went to study abroad then 2 years later he gave me the real engagement ring and as of today we are married. He kept the promise.

No, but after a girl in a grocery store started 'coming on' to my fiance and I complained, he said 'It's not fair for you to wear an engagement ring, and I wear no ring' so I bought him an 'engagement ring' that he wore until I replaced it with his wedding ring. We still have that engagement ring in a box, too ... although he can't wear it any more, he still likes it and doesn't want to get rid of it.
