Most pizza places cut pizza into 6-8 slices.........what I like to do is have them leave mine whole.......that way the cheese and toppings don't "bleed" all over the box......and cut it yourself.....you can get pizza wheels (cutters) at just about any dollar store......Enjoy your pizza.......I've done this before, and this is what worked for 20:

6 large pizzas,

1 with meats

1 just cheese

2 vegetarian (make them different toppings, though)

1 Loaded

1 Ham and Pineapple.......(or what ever your favorite is)

Nice thing about having pizza is that it's good piping hot out of the oven, warm, room temperature or even cold then next day, so it's a very forgiving entree to serve......Enjoy!!!

A large pizza (14") usually feeds about 3 or 4 people and cut into 8 slices. You can call your local pizza parlor to be sure.

If you have hungry guest, I would suggest 4 or 5 pizzas.
For most eaters, I'd recommend 4 pizzas.

If you want 3 slices per person and at 8 slices per pizza, you'll need 6 pizzas, which seems like a lot. However, it depends upon your guest.

At least around here (Cleveland, OH area), the large pizzas are cut into 12 or 16 pieces. Why not call the place you're going to order from and ask them? But if that's the main food (besides cake) that you're going to have, I would get 4 pizzas figuring 1/4th of a large pizza per person.

Happy B-day...don't forget the ice cream to go with the cake!

The place I go to (Little Caesar's) has 10 slices on a large for 5 bucks. So I guess that's about 5 pizzas. If it were my party, I'd get more than that. I could eat an entire one myself :P

I have in the past, but that was a very rare thing! Way too much pizza for me! lol About a third of a large is all I can handle and that if I'm starving.

A pizza pie has 8 slices. 6 pizzas should work. Get an extra if you need one.

You'll need about 3-5 pizzas to feed 16 people.
You might want to call and see. It all depends on the place your getting it from.
