As a certainty? No.
As a risk? Very small but not zero. You're upping the chance of your developing a corneal ulcer which, in a severe case, can leave an opaque cornea.
Will you be damaging your cornea? Yes.
On a small scale and with no immediately noticeable effects, it's true. But in "getting away with it" for a while, many people are storing up problems for their future contact lens wear, at the least.

Well it depends what type of contacts you are using.
For example there are one that are daily disposables, which I don't think its a good idea to sleep in...as you only use them for a few hours in the day then chuck it away...and you sleep for quite a long time. I knew someone who slept with daily disposable and when they woke up their eye was all red..so I recommend you don't do that... Possibly you could go blind..?
And there are Monthly and fortnight ones which I think would be designed so that you can wear them continiously for that time. But most eye doctors wouldn't recommend you do that as it may cause you eye to become stressed. Maybe one or two nights sleep in them is okay..

My optometrist said that basically, if you don't take the contacts out for a prolonged period (i assume more than a week), it does damage to the eye's blood vessels. If you never, ever take the contacts out, yeah, you can go blind.
But there are some kinds of contacts that say they allow you to wear them for 1 month straight. I'd look into those. (no pun intended)

no you wont go blind. ive slept in my contacts many times, on the airplane for around 6 hours, on road trips for a couple of hours, taking a nap for a couple of hours. just dont make a habit of it. and make sure you put some eye drops in your eye afterwards to re-moisten the contact lenses, or take out your contact lenses and put some contact solution on them before putting them back in your eyes.

you can come really close if you don't have the right kind of contact lens. you can get an ulcer or scratch on your cornea if its bad enough you can lose vision. there are only two kinds of contacts that i am aware of that are approved for extended wear and they are focus night and day and acuvue oasys and they are only recommended to to wear six days and take out the seventh night and clean them really good. i suggest if you do this use a solution like clear care. its peroxide based solution and it works wonders.

adults can wear there contact lenses for a month without taking them off to desinfect them or put a new one.
TEENAGERS have too many colds and sorethroats and styes that
is better to take them off every day and desinfect them every day,
and keep your glasses close if they bother you and need to take them off in the middle of the day.
