I remember when he was first elected. Most of us typical americans were relieved at first. Finally, a different political party in charge.
It's now nearly a decade later, and Mexico is in just as bad shape as before.
Here's a chance for you Fox defenders to step in.

Why is he travelling around America talking trash?

Well he got real good at sticking us with his problems and then blaming us for it, and telling us about what we should do about letting his people coming across our borders while at the same time putting people in jail for sneaking across Mexico's southern border, does the term ba--s mean anything?. All he is is another waste of space who only got where he got because he figured out how to blame someone else for his lack of ability.

Mexico is better than before I'm Mexican and I live in Mexico and a have seen many changes:
Population under the poverty line in 1995 was of 45% of the population. Now in 2007 it's only the 17% of the population that is under the poverty line.
We have a strung economy with an infaltion rate of 3%, this has never been seen before.

Fox did and said also stupid things such as marrying Martita Sahagún or being Bush's pet, I really hated that.
My point is that Mexico is much better now than 10 years ago and our Current President, Felipe Calderón, has been great and has acted as a political genius so far.

I do hate Fox when he speaks in the American news, and tries to justify his actions in the US, when he should be doing so in Mexico, that really enrages me. I also hated he turned only to the US when he should had turned to Latin America as Felipe Calderón is doing. We don't have anything to do with US while Latin America and Spain are our sister nations.

He is the first of his political party to be president, he has ALOT of things to fix. I would bet that the local governments are more screwed up than anything and it will take a while to correct any of that. I have a feeling that the corruption will only end if the people pay taxes, therefore paying the local governments better and the police wont have to take bribes and the roads will get fixed. The only problem is that the people will not like that and they may not be able to afford that. The rich need to be taxed big time. As for Fox in Utah, why does that affect you? He is a president, he most certainly was invited by our president to debate on current events.

Fox said it himself......

When Fox was asked how Mexico can create jobs so Mexicans don’t feel like they need to emigrate, he let the cat out of the bag:

"It's not that they don't have jobs in Mexico, but that they make more money here."

He was able to convince president bush that the immigration problem is the US's fault and that we for some reason should bow down and pass laws and regulations that pretty much encourage illegal transit to the US. He wants us to spend money on helping their economy rather then helping our own economy or putting funds toward phsically securing our border with a wall or fence.

Rather than bothering to fix his nation, he has exported his citizens (without America's consent, illegally).
