is there a difference between having double glazed windows or windows with trickle vents?

also which one is better at dealing with condensation?

...a double glazed unit is just two pieces of glass separated by the spacing bar ... this can be of various thickness to create a good air gap as its good for retaining heat and avoiding condensation ...a trickle vent is a small ventilator that is fitted to the top of a window to aid air circulation and is a building reg for new windows in extensions ..i would recommend them for all replacement windows ..so you see you can have both in one window

You question isn't quite clear - you can have a trickle vent irrespective of whether your windows are single or double glazed. Unless you have another vent - such as an airbrick vent in the wall - a trickle vent will help prevent condensation. If you have a gas fire in the room, you must have a vent with an area of at least 15 sq cm. A trickle vent may not meet this requirement.
