There are no (absolute) proofs for, or against, the existence of God.
Proof is a tricky word. Many people think that proof establishes something is an absolute fact. That's not often the case; at least, not in the everyday world.
In jurisprudence and science, a reasonable basis for proof is based on solid evidence and the absence of any known contradiction. There's a "reasonable person" standard which defines proof as "beyond a reasonable doubt". The test of time fortifies proofs.
You say there are no unicorns? Prove it. You see? ABSOLUTE proof is an illusion -- especially when trying to prove a negative, such as "There is no God".
However, rephrasing the assertion from "There is no God", to "God is imaginary", makes proof easier, using the "reasonable person" standard. We can't ABSOLUTELY prove it but we can prove it beyond a reasonable doubt.
Consider this . . .
No matter where man has spread, he as created countless gods. From aboriginal Australians to tribal Africans to American Indians to ancient Egyptians . . . they've all created gods prolifically and with ease. That man creates gods is a well-known, indisputable fact.
But what about the opposite? God creating man? We DON'T know that he did. We have no evidence that he did. We have no reason to think that he did. All the evidence points to evolution over the course of billions of years. There's growing evidence that life originated from abiogenesis -- from an electro-chemical reaction in the primordial soup of early Earth.
So, with countless thousands of gods to man's credit, believers are in the untenable position of asserting that all the gods that came before and after theirs are false . . . but their own god (and religion) is real and true. Asserting that one's own god is real, when we know that man created all the others, is ridiculous. It is so unlikely that we can safely consider it delusional.
Man has created countless thousands of gods and YOURS (if you believe) has NO evidence. That, my friend, qualifies God’s existence as dubious, at best, and faith in him as misguided and misplaced. Based upon the preponderance of evidence, the assertion that "God is imaginary" meets the reasonable person standard for proof and has withstood the test of time for thousands of years.

If you really had studied every religion, you would have noticed certain traits or characteristics that make each religion unique or different from the other.
Moreover, if you had truly examined all religions, you would have had to have examined Jesus. Of course, I would be safe to assume that you really did not examine the person of Jesus or his life because you would have clearly noticed that Jesus was Jewish, a Rabbi (Teacher), and that he followed the Jewish Scriptures. Also, it would serve you well to research your world history along with that of Roman history and how influential Constantine played a role in a religion that came to be called "Christianity."
As for your assumption that anyone could write the Bible; you clearly don't know, or have you thoroughly examined the writings of the Bible; the Authors; the dates in which they were written; and why they were written to begin with. Nor do you fully understand or grasp the centrality of the Bible and how it was written by 66 different men throughout 1,500 years, and speaks about the History of Redemption for not only Israel, but the entire planet as well.
You might want to think about your questions a little bit more carefully because Christianity did exist and secular history proves it.

Proof that Christianity exists would be the actual existence of Christianity. A religion based on the belief that Jesus Christ was the Son of God. Now if you are asking what proof there is that Jesus lived, then why would you not count the bibles and letters written at the time? It is a compilation, not written by one guy, and it is physical.
Now that doesn't mean that it proves that Jesus was the Son of God, it only proves what people believed and believed they saw. But the fact that it neither proves nor disproves Jesus as a fact doesn't have any bearing on whether or not Christianity exists.
Basically, your question doesn't make much sense. Christianity obviously exists, the bible exists, it proves what some people believed at that time since it was a compilation of records, and whether or not Jesus was really the Son of God doesn't change anything because it is all based on faith, not proof and it can't be proven either way regardless.

Do you have a conscious? Where did it come from? And don't say man because you can't prove it. Do you breathe air? And don't say yes because we can't see it. Seeing is believeing right?? I personally don't believe a big bang gave me a conscious. I don't believe man evolved into having one either because a child has to be taught rules and laws, he automatically breaks them when he is young, so that proves were not born with a guilty conscious so to speak. As technology gets better we see further into space, you notice I said technology gets better, man has not evolved at all, scientists say the pyramids in egypt are about as perfect as you can get, So now I ask you, you are driving down the road and you see a cross, does it remind you of Jesus, what about three crosses?? So in all your life you have never felt anything spiritual when you heard the word Jesus or God or Church, never. The choice is yours, you have freewill, you only get one life, give it your best shot, It still makes me wonder though, what all the fuss about Israel is though, if there is no God why is this little country the size of Rhode Island the center of the World. Wow. Could it be that believing is seeing. Could it be that blind faith in something can open the eyes of the blind, Christianity, islam, and judaism all love Israel, Why????

Your question is exactly the reason mankind chooses to deny God is real. If mankind can't see, hear, feel or touch something, does it mean it don't exist?
Yet, the wind blows... was it coming or going? Who knows? But we know it was there, because it was felt or we saw something move from it... Yet it wasn't seen. So, was the wind really there or imagined? There was no physical evidence.. and it couldn't be captured and contained...
This is the same with God. You have to take His word and believe He is there even though you can't see Him... done by having simple faith... which isn't that hard.
What exactly is faith?
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
HEBREWS 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Those of little or no faith will never see the Kingdom of God.
=====
One comment I would like to add; Out of the 70% who claim they are Christian, only about 7% of them are the TRUE Christians that are the "few who walk the narrow path".

If looking the fact somewhat ability some thing to then you end playing video games on Y!A and bypass discover out how all religions come from especially a lot a similar source. discover out who God and devil somewhat are in words of human psychology and technology. If this is basically to piss human beings off then bypass lower back to you modern-day existence of Guitar Hero and Myspace.

You mean "what proof"....."prove" is a verb.
Christianity exists. Is it 70% of the people on earth that are Christians? I think that's close.
Christianity exists. Look it up in the dictionary or the encyclopedia.
There are entire books that have been written on Christianity.
I think you mean something else. Do you mean God? Christ? What?
Somehow I doubt that you have studied every religion since you misspelled both "Christianity" and "exists."
If a Christian had asked the question that you did and misspelled words, many of the atheists would have jumped on it, saying that Christians are stupid and cannot spell. Now that YOU did this, it is all okay, though.
It's ironic. They take up for you and are kind about your errors. However, it's cool to attack a Christian who makes mistakes.
I know full well that there is no concrete proof that God is real. However, I think He is, just as you think He is not.
There is no concrete proof that "The Big bang" is real, either.
We are all entitled to our opinion. Don't you agree? I owe you no proof. You owe me no proof.
YOu refer to how people are answering. Look at how you worded your question....it is an attack, demanding proof that suits YOU and telling others what NOT to say. It is off-putting and offensive. How can you not expect otrhers to treat you as you are treating them? I don't take kindly to verbal abuse, and I will defend myself and my faith.

Jesus was a physical person, I think. And there were Christians before the Bible was written and even after it was written most people could not read and yet became Christians.
Btw, ever heard of BC and AD? That is the greatest proof of Christianity there ever was or will be, don't ya think?

Have you ever looked at the world and wondered how all these things came to be? There is no physical proof yet when you look at life and the universe and how it is ordered you come to understand that a Higher being (God) must have designed it. Know that God loves every one and wants a relationship with every one and He sent His Son into this world so that we could have a chance to get to know Him. He died for my sins and yours because He loves us that much. I suppose that you need to stick your hands in Jesus side and you fingers in the Holes in His hands to believe. Until Jesus returns this will not happen. Blessed are those who don't see but believe.

Answerers, she means "proof that Christianity is true"...
And there isn't any, apart from some of the places and people referred to in the Bible being real places or people (and some of those places, such as the modern Nazareth, were named after the Bible not before).
