I agree with joe. Iowa has more churches than it does intersections. Observing the current political atmosphere in this country whatever Republican wins the nomination will have a very tough time winning the presidency and if they nominate a Fundy such as Huckabee it would be like shooting them-self in the foot. What speaks volumes to me is the fact the percent of registered Dems vs. registered Reps. that turned out for the caucus was 2:1 and that Independents 2:1 supported a Dem candidate over a Rep one.

i saw his strategic plan by accident a few weeks ago. it just happened to be open to the easter egg hunt page. it begins with an invocation by pat robertson, in which he will justify the use of eggs and bunnies for a 'christian holiday'. something like, jesus was hungry when he woke up and ate scrambled robin's eggs and slew a rabbit but spared her bunnies out of mercy. the kiddies will hunt eggs and then have a luncheon of hassenpfeffer to commemorate the lord's rising. kiddies who want little brothers and sisters can exchange their plastic eggs for frozen embryos. nine months later, the results of these new mandatory pregnancies will be dedicated to jesus and entered into a special missionary training program in houston, where they will become witnesses in space.
needless to say, hunt participants will be screened ahead of time and culled from megachurches across the land.
