i read in seventeen magazine about this girl who was forced to pose nude on the internet. there was this guy and he started talking to her on myspace, and then some how got her email address. then she moved and bought a web cam, and he would get mad when she wouldn't have time for him. i mean like she didn't even know the guy!!! well um then he kept asking her to show him her boobs. and she tried to change the subject. then he finally said if you don't he would rape her and kill her parents. she did what he asked and cried while she did it. what would you do?

I would definitely report him to the cops. But the best thing is to not even get on sites like my-space because they can lead to such danger. Know the facts about Internet safety!
20% of young Internet users are molested each year because they went to meet someone in person that they "met" online.
69% of teens say that they've been emailed by strangers, and most opened the emails, some even replied to the emails.
51% of teens say that they've been asked for personal info. online such as their full name, address, phone number, etc.

However, most dangerous situations like the one you described can be avoided by knowing how to keep safe online. Don't give out personal info. online, don't talk to strangers online, and don't even open emails from strangers! It's absolutely essential to be wise online!

I would have stopped talking to the guy and then when he continued to harrase me I would have told the police. No one can make you do anything you don't want to especially some guy who doesn't even know you.

Well.. I have enough common sense to not talk to someone like that in the first place.

It's really unfortunate that that happened to her though.. there are so many creepy guys on the internet.
