Eze 18:4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

Those who say the Soul Cannot Die are spiritually naive. Thats a dangerous place to be since it is written "Do not go beyond the things that are written”!—1 Corinthians 4:6.
The Bible shows that the Soul CAN die. (Ezek 18: 4)
There is Not a Single Verse In Scripture of God " Implanting" a Soul in a Person. Adam the First Man was formed from the dust of the ground and God blew into his Nostrils the Breath of Life and he became a Living Soul....Remove that Breath and his a Dead Soul.

Yes the soul does indeed die. Jehovah God blew into the nostrils of Adam and he became a living soul. So our body is our soul. And when our bodies die, so does the soul...and we go to the grave and wait for the day of resurrection

A person is a soul. A person doesn't have a soul. We are all souls. nearly all living things are souls.
(Genesis 2:7) 7 And Jehovah God proceeded to form the man out of dust from the ground and to blow into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man came to be a living soul.

The "ruah" breath of God, is what Genesis suggests is what gave life to the people.

The image of a soul which has been incorporated into the scripture comes from Platonic thought. Plato postulated that there is a "great soul", the essence, to which the individual soul returns upon death. This soul does not die. I'd suggest that while this is popular thought, it is not Christian. And diminishes the power of the resurrection.

It is darn near impossible for any of us to think of ourselves as non-being, because as long as we've known ourselves, once we began to exist, we will continue to exist in some form. (As the man once said, I plan to live forever...and so far I've been successful).

Christ's resurrection shows us that what we once thought impossible is possible.

The body is the soul. So when you die you body dies as well. It's no more.

But your spirit goes to God. He will never forget you. So when the great day of Jehovah comes he will remember.

The soul goes into the unknown when you die. In order to answer your second question you need to quantify the soul. What is it? Spirit? What is spirit? Energy? If the soul is energy then it cannot die, it can only change.
In physics we assume there is matter and energy. We postulate that matter is composed of energy. This means that all things are just energy. Energy can neither be created nor destroyed. It can only change state.

The soul goes to judgment before almighty God. From there it goes to heaven or hell. The soul cannot die.

The soul is eternal and does not die and that is what seperates us from animals.
At the time of death, the soul and spirit leave the body. The body is put into the grave. In the case of believers, the body is described as sleeping, Acts 7:59, 60; 8:2, while the unsaved person's body is spoken of as dead. The soul and spirit never sleep. If the person who died was saved, the soul and the spirit go to a place of joy and happiness – heaven. II Corinthians 5:8; Phil. 1:21- 23. If the person was unsaved, the spirit and soul go to a place of sorrow and punishment - hell. In Luke 16:19-31, our Lord clearly teaches that those who have died are conscious.
