Bad idea. What kind of parents ask if their 14 year-old daughter can spend the week at her boyfriend's house. The kind that want grandchildren I guess.

Precautions against what, exactly? Probably the best precaution you could take, is to give him a condom. Or if you don't want the perception of approval that might happen if YOU are the one to hand him that condom, you could ask another trusted adult in his life to give him one. Any other "precautions" you might take (including not allowing the girl to stay over) are less than failproof. I think its a positive thing that you are open to having her stay in your home. Whatever decisions they make, it's good that they can make them within the family and the protections that provides. It will do good things for your relationship with him.

Make sure they are in separate rooms of course. Putting them on different floors if possible helps also with the sneaking around. I would sit down with her parents and both children and go over the list of rules with everyone. If you do it that way both kids will have a better understanding of the consequences should they break any rules. Other than that, make sure you keep an eye on them! good luck!

Make sure they are sleeping in different rooms. Lay down some ground rules and be clear that both of them should not be seen at any time in each others room after certain hours. tell them to keep all socializing between them for outdoors and in your presence only or in the presence of another capable adult.
all the best

Have a chat with your son, and make it clear to him that there will be no sex. Make them sleep in separate rooms. It's also good to have their bedroom door open when they sleep and never let them close the doors behind them when they're in a room together alone.

i dont think at 14 they will be havin sex. possible but it you dont make a big deal out of it, neither will they. yeah make them sleep in diff rooms. but thats really all you can do. but also remember that night is not the only time they can have sex. if they are havin sex, if you leave them alone durin the day for 5 mins they will find a way to do it.

You do NOT leave them alone period. She sleeps with you and your son sleeps in HIS room, otherwise your going to end up a grandmother.14 yr old have raging hormones and I can GUARANTEE they are BOTH chomping at the bit for her parents to leave. They should leave her with a relative if possible.

Try suggesting that their son stay with you for the week they are gone. This way you know what they are doing. If they have no problem with her staying at their house they shouldn't have a problem with him staying with you. 14 is to young to have them by themselves.

Well, you really can not hide things from kids these days. Just make sure you have a talk with them both, while not making the situation uncomfortable..
