I'm not sure I understand it. Does it mean that believing is seeing, as in seeing things that aren't there? If so, I guess it's an OK quote. But since it isn't all that clear, it isn't all that great.

Believing what you see is an elementary principle of rational thought. Seeing what you believe is projection or, at worst, delusion.
