In 20 years, it will be very difficult to live on earth. Things like huge natural disasters, lack of food, drinking water, and lack of civilized people, etc will eventually make this planet a lonely place and people will prefer to die than to be on this planet. People will kill each other for natural resource to live. It's a scary thought but it's coming. In probably 100 years, this planet will get so hot that no living creature will be able to bear the heat so the history of of the planet earth may be repeated. Hmmmmm....who are going to be the next Adam and Eve? I know I am not going to be the next Adam....

I'm pretty sure that the melting ice caps will cause this cold water to enter the gulf stream causing cooler temperatures and some goon with junk science will be screaming about global cooling and the coming ice age.
This person will also develop the next mass media medium and run for president but wont get elected because hes to chilly. Also He will win the Noble Peace prize by the lemmings who pick the winners and write a book and make a movie all based on his junk science.

maybe, it will only be a little hotter because now, we have air conditioning units that keeps us cool. in the future, science can pave way to help lessen the intense effect of global warming. if global warming is so intensified in the future, time of glaciers might end and will cause too many disasters. in order to prevent this, we must take our part now in saving the environment by saving electricity, using public transportations, regular tune up of cars, recycling can help and support green projects.

First, scientists are still debating this question. Most scientists - I am one of them - believe that the earth has basically been in a warming period since the ice age. The Earth goes through natural cycles of warming and cooling. Most scientists either do not believe that CO2 is responsible for the warming or there is not enough information to conclude the CO2 is the main cause of this recent cycle of warming. The last IPCC summary in February consisted of about 2000 scientists who submitted their raw data to the IPCC, while a small panel of select people decided that the data showed that CO2 was the main cause of global warming.
Second, be wary of people who make outrageous claims like humanity will end; seas will rise 20 feet and flood the world; Hurricanes and drought will devastate populations. These people are equal to conspiracy theorists. These alarmists have been around for centuries and have always been wrong. For example, in the 1950's Americans were afraid of communism and nuclear holocaust. I was so bad that some people built bomb shelters. In the 1960's is was again nuclear holocaust was going to wipe out the planet and blacks having rights would destroy the country. In the 1970's after the world population reached over 3 billion, the planet would experience 100's of millions of deaths from lack of food and disease. According the expert scientists, the planet could not support that many people. Also, the planet would run out of oil by the year 2000 (expert scientists cacluated this). Of course nuclear holocaust was still alive and well and - believe it or not - we were about to experience a new ice age (according to expert scientists). Yes global cooling. The 1980's welcomed in the world epidemic of aids. Aids was going to end humanity - it was unstoppable and again nuclear holocaust. The 1990's brought us the Ozone hole that would fry humanity, planes were going to drop out of the sky because of Y2K and of course the beginning of Global Warming. Finally, the current decade brings us the Bird Flu, Islamic terrorism and Global Warming. In all cases, humans have done just fine and none of these alarmist events ever took place. Also, all of these catastrophies were the result of analysis by experts.
So, if the planet gets warmer, humans and nature will do just fine. They will adapt. The world will not end. The science does not back the alarmist claims anyway. For example,
-- In 2005 after Hurricane Katrina, you will recall that Kathrina was the result of Global Warming. We were to experience more hurricanes and these hurricanes would be more intense. We have not experienced a hurricane in 2 years even though each year the "models" predict over a dozen. If you go to www.noaa.gov, you can get the number of major and minor hurricanes the US has experienced over the last 100+ years. If you plot this data in say Excel, you will see there has been absolutely no increase in the number of major/minor hurricanes - period.
-- in the early 1930's the central US experienced the worst drought recorded - referred sometimes as the dust bowl years. This drought lasted approximately 10 years. Droughts happen regardless of the global temperature. They have happened in the past and will in the future. Also, during this time states like Minnesota, North Dakota, etc experienced days of extreme temperature - well into the 100's. Interestingly, the US east coast has been experiencing a drought because this region usually gets a significant amount of it's water from hurricanes and we have not experienced any in two years... Hurricanes have a purpose. They supply much needed water to the east part of the US each year.
-- Floods have been experienced since the beginning of time and we will have them regardless of the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere.
-- Glaciers have been receding for tens of thousands of years. At one time, the northern part of the US was under a glacier. The Great Lakes were cut by glaciers. One day in the future, glaciers will again cover the northern US - when the planet is in a long cooling cycle again.
-- According to the last IPCC report, the oceans have risen approximately 6-7 inches over the last 100 hundred years and the report does not support 20 foot increases in sea levels. That "prediction" was part of a previous report that since has been shown to be unrealistic. Coastal cities will NOT be under water in 100 years -- maybe in 10,000 years; however, I would believe that humanity will have plenty of time to adjust.
-- Why do you think settlers of Greenland named it Greenland? Because it was covered with ice? The Earth was much warmer from 900-1300 AD then it is now. It should be noted that this warming period in history was "conveniently" ignored and removed from the data in the IPCC report a few years ago. You may have heard of the infamous "hockey stick" temperture plot. This plot - produced by these experts on Global Warming - showed that weather was constent until about the last 100 years when the temperature increased - hence the constant temperature line was the long flat section of the hockey stick (handle) and the increase in temperature was the section of the stick that extends up. The problem with this plot is it completely ignored the warming period I mentioned above. Once it was shown to be a hoax, it was removed and not used in the last IPCC report.
If you look at the data used to predict alarmist results, you will see that this small group of IPCC people cherry pick the data and dates. For example, in some cases they start in the year 1970 or 1980 to calculate their catastrophes because the planet experienced a short cooling period from 1940-1970. If they started at 1940, they would not have the results they wanted to make policy changes. An analogy to this pathetic measurement standard would be if a doctor wanted to predict how tall a child was going to grow in the next 10 years and made his measurement during the period when the child grew six inches in six months (when i was 12, i grew 6 inches in 6 months - but grew 0 over then next 6 months) and extrapolated that to predict the child's height in 10 years. The doctor would calculate that the child would grow 5 feet (6 inches per 6 months for 10 years). As you can see, the point of reference makes a huge difference in the result - and the truth.
I could go on an on. Bottom line. Enjoy the warm period while it lasts. There will be a time in the future when the earth will cool again and people will wish it were warm. History shows that people do better in a warm climate. Think about those poor people experiencing the extreme cold in the northern part of the US now. It's really cold up here! Perhaps we can get some of these people who own SUV's to fire them up a little so that we can get some warming up here! :o)

Global warming is a Religion you have to have a lot of faith to believe in that crap. Wasn't it global cooling 20 years ago? GLOBAL WARMING IS HUMANITIES GREATEST LIE!!!
Most of the socalled scientest that signed the UN report, did not agree that man made global warming is real, but there names were added anyway. This includes the Chairman of the IAEA. Global warming is an industry. say you support it and get funding say you dont NO funding go figure

Nothing. You wouldn't notice any difference at all.
How is our weather/climate any difference than the climate/weather in 1987?
