Btw, Im not 16 anymore and havent been doing a ton of art since then so Im not sure how good I am at that kind of thing anymore. I devoted a lot of time back then because it was for a class that we were graded on.

nice job...and don't worry about those who criticize...any fool can criticize and they usually do...the important thing is the process of painting and if you enjoy it. If I were you I would keep painting...

ummm.....not to be mean or anything as watercolor is a hard media to work with but...I think it's really flat in terms of how you used color. I don't really think it's finished and is more a base layer that you can build up on. I wouldn't use more water color though. I'd use coloured pencil or much better if you have it: colored charcoal. Ask your art teacher. They should have some in their supply closet. I think you need a lot more practice with the medium and should read a few art books that can explain a lot better than me what can be done to make it better and also put it up on deviantart.com . The people there would gladly comment. It' s ok for a 14 year old but if you have had a formal education in art---well you can do better.

Quite acceptable. If you want to move forward and have less of the "colored in" look and more of the subtle color variations do some classes in watercolor. Nothing wrong with the operator (you), but you can't progress without getting the proper tools (painting techniques).

Quite good. Be sure to save all your paintings for future reference so you can see the creative development. Also keep your paintings away from direct sunlight, moisture and dust which may alter the original hues.

Blue Nemo. Very nice. Bit flat in color use but very nice for the materials you had.

You have any recent stuff you want to share?
