If I attend OCS and don't make it through is there a commitment to join as an enlisted salior?

If you are coming in straight from College/Civilian life, no. if you are coming in via the enlisted ranks, then yes, you would be shipped back tot he Fleet to finish out your term of enlistment.

If you enlist, and techniqualy you are not enlisting, and you wash out of the program your contract becomes null and void.

Cause your contract states that upon completion of OCS you will commission. If you don't commision your contract is negated.

Now if you are curently enlisted, or enlist into the enlisted ranks prior to OCS then the answer is yes. You will serve out the remainder of your time as an enlisted member of the navy.

no not unless when you applied for ocs you were already a Sailor. Then you would have to of course serve out the remainder of your contract.
