Go ahead. I'm not Athieat though. I'm Wiccan. And hell does not exist. But because I said this you will consider it an insult or witty remark and most likely report me for it. But you question is a paradox. With no right or wrong answer. Just like your god.

Good point.....I think atheist are living a life they wish there was no God, some of them......Others may have tried God and did not get prayers answered or something happened.....Others has parent's that let them down and they were hurt and don't believe there could be a God.
But we must trust God no matter what happens.....

If there is no Odin, then who is the One that you are denying?

If Christians do not care about the almighty Zeus, FSM, or Cthulhu, then they should feel free to park themselves in the Mythology and Folklore section, where they belong.

At least I'm being consistent. How do theists rationalize their lack of belief? The only rational stance for a theist would be to believe equally in all deities. An argument for one works equally well for all.

The least rational stance is to be a non-believer in all but one.

I deny the existence of all Gods until something convinces me otherwise. As it stands, though, there is no verifiable evidence of any Gods and the philosophical arguments aren't convincing to me.

What is not cannot be a 'who' to be denied.

Don't think of atheism as actively denying something, just think of it as not believing something. Like not believing in the tooth fairy.
