Hi I bought a pink paint for my bedroom that I thought would be more like a berry stain or strawberry icecream but now its bright, luminous almost neon pink. I dont have the receipt anymore but do you think I could take it back to the store and ask them to tint it a little more? Or is there a DIY tint kit I could buy to tone the color down a bit? I was hoping for something softer, grayer even.

Stores won't take back paint. I would recommend getting rid of the paint and starting all over simply because if you mix the paint at home to get what you want, you won't have a way to get more paint for touch-ups or for any other projects you might want to do in the room that use that same color. It's always a good idea to buy paint colors that can be mixed over and over again and always look the same. You never know when something will rub against the wall and you need to repaint it. I always use Sherwin Williams paint, but there are other good paint brands out there.

Also, if you want to try different colors, at Sherwin Williams you can buy trial paint for five dollars a color and paint some on your walls and live with it for a while before you commit. You can also design your room online for free at sherwin-williams.com.

Keep in mind that the paint will dry a darker color than it is when it is wet.
Yes, Sherwin Williams will tint your paint which you already purchased. Pick a color from their chart that you like and ask them to alter your present paint the best that they can. If they cannot get to the color that you prefer, then you may have to purchase new paint.
However don't toss out your paint, you can always tint it later and use it on something else or donate it a local church, salavation army, etc.

What a waste of time, that will not deter people from not picking it up. If big fines don't deter people then pink spraypaint won't! I don't understand the purpose of it really except that it will be easier for people to spot and avoid. I also think it would make the streets look more of a mess which sounds odd but it will just highlight the mess and make it look like there is graffiti everywhere. I don't have a dog anymore but never would I have just left it on the street, it's so gross and I get sick of having to dodge other peoples because they cba or because they don't like doing it, why get a dog if you aren't willing to pick up the crap? They are animals and do it daily. Nobody enjoys picking it up but it has to be done. I hope people who just leave it step in ones other people have left.

Do you have any white paint on hand? You could just mix it with some white paint. If you do make sure it's the same kind of paint - latex, satin, flat, etc.
