If we had up to 38 million illegals from England, yes, I'd be very worried about it. Maybe you should examine your motives.

morey, I agree... but I have a feeling if I said repeal the 14th Amendment, people like Samantha Stickers would still be calling me "racist".

La Raza, Mexican is a nationality, not a race. Illegal is not a race, either... just a little fyi.

Kind of ironic, but I guess Mexico is one of the most racist countries, their southern border is heavily protected.

All countries are racist by that definition! It is not racist to protect your border from millions of aliens who are trying to gt into your country. Only a left winger or a La Raza supremacist could make a statement that ridiculous. Calling those concerned with illegal immigration racists is just a tactic that they use to kill debate on the issue. Don't let those scoundrels get away with it!

Your question goes to the heart of the problem and at least one of the answers show why. If it is mostly "messy"can that protecting the border would stop, then the claim is that it is racist. Because it is mostly one race, (they claim) is being stopped from illegally entering the country. First hispanic isn't a race, it is an ethnicity. Second it is mostly "messy"cans that are illegal breaking into our home, America. Until and unless Americans can shake off the self hatred and not care if these scummy slimy illegal aliens call us racist, we will lose our country. America, the greatest country in the world.

It is not racist to protect the border, and if you are being a racist by saying that then alomost every country is a racist. Is trying to protect our country being racist? What if some person was bring bombs or drugs over to another country? There just trying to be safe!

No and just ignore la raza.

Recently la raza had to face the tough fact that Spain cast off it's bastard children and left them to wallow in their own filth. They've been doing it for almost 500 years now and it must be upsetting to finally understand that as a peasant class from a peasant nation nobody cares anything about them. Couple that with the painful truth that mexican/hispanic are a nationality and ethnicity not a race and their self-loathing depression must be immense.

The true hate in the illegal immigrant discussion comes from people and groups like la raza, fist, mecha etc. While these groups have HUGE mouths they are meaningless and fear Americans coming together the way we have. Pity them in their ignorance and continue to raise your voice where it matters (in congress).

It's definitely not racist to want to protect your country from illegals of all races and ethnicities, illegal being the operative word!

bypass even with each and every thing companies that hire illegals. while i choose for a job, i ought to teach a legal social protection huge type. as quickly as I get stopped for a recurring site visitors provide up i ought to teach a drivers license, vendors card, and insurance card. while our young ones bypass to college they ought to teach a delivery certificates, and evidence of vaccinations.while i bypass to the docs I ought to teach a medical wellness insurance card. How do illegals escape with each and every thing they do? we've extra regulations for legal citizens than illegals. Seeing hundreds of illegals marching interior the streets for rights that they have not got, only makes human beings turn against them extra. If each and every business enterprise interior the u . s . a . wasn't so incompetent and corrupt they might understand if a visa had expired or student replaced into not in school or if somebody replaced into utilising a phony social protection card.

Some people protect the border to keep out terrorists. It is only racist if you are just trying to keep out people of particular nationalities.

Protecting the border isn't racist. It's just dumb.
If you want to stop people from coming into the country illegally, then you.
1. need to give them a legal way to do it, or
2. need to make it not worth their while.

i.e. check up on all monetary wire transfers between the US and Mexico. if they can't send money home, they'll be no reason for them to come here and work. That would be a heck of a lot cheaper than building a wall (which doesn't work)

another idea: Don't give US birth certificates to babies born to illegal immigrants. (this one is being discussed).

it's a lot easier to take away people motivation for coming here illegally, than to hold a carrot out on this side of the border and try and stop them.

I would say just the US and the UK currently have to deal with illegals and the race card. Most other countries have secured their borders.

Actually, as defined in the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, we have the right to protect the U.S./Mexican border (both nations signed and passed the treaty)

Article XVI
Each of the contracting parties reserves to itself the entire right to fortify whatever point within its territory it may judge proper so to fortify for its security.

That's not racist, its a term of a treaty. And, all nations have the right to protect their borders.
