Considering the savage & mindless insults in reference to God, isn't it amazing that He still wants them back?? Your thoughts ?

You said it -amazing indeed.There is nothing in this world that we can do to make him hate us.He does hate sin though but not the sinner.Most people dont get this.Think about the fact that He prayed for his enemies' forgiveness while he was dripping with blood on the cross.It is so easy for us to forgive others when we understand that he loves our enemies just as much as he loves us.

I don't follow. Christians making savage and mindless insults to God? You know, it is amazing that despite all the things people do and have done in their lives, that Jesus Christ loves them, forgives them, and is never ending is his offering for forgiveness and eternal life. You're right. God is awesome! If only we could be more like that.

God is bigger than any insult.
If He took umbrage at every insult, we'd see nothing but piles of ashes where friends, family and strangers used to be.
All of us are doing the best we can with the tools we have been given. Some of us require more questions and answers than others, but if the listen, they will find what they are looking for, too.

I am always in awe of Him. I can not comprehend His depth of compassion, love, forgiveness, and mercy. I have also seen the other side of Him too. Equal to all His goodness, is His anger and wrath. God is the scariest thing known to Mankind. Too bad more people don't understand that. I wouldn't polk a tiger in the chest.

we just had a sermon on this in church Sunday--Luke 15:1-3 the lost sheep. dude, God LOVES us, ALL of us, no matter how we throw Him down. I've been there, bro, to what i thought was the point of no return, but have been convinced without a shadow of a doubt that God LOVES ME!! and He has something for me to do before i leave this earth...2 months later, i met my soul mate, who is a wonderful Christian man and helps me to learn and grow in the Lord every single day.
that's the truth, no joke.

The Mind and love of God is without blemish, without error and a Pure unconditional Love beyond understanding.
How could not a Father wish to have a child back. It is we who need God. Jesus said father forgive them, they know not what they do.

Thats called forgiving... Thats what God does because he loves of so much. He has love that none of us can imagine... Love that is the strongest in the whole heaven and earth. Just remember that God us not like us her can do so much more and he never sins.

I think that is the most admirable quality about Him.
Just the mere fact the God will forgive anyone of anything is only one of the great traits He posseses.

He's perfect. His soul is far beyond recognition to what we can understand. He's sees things different. If you think about it, people are better off if they decide to change and become saved. It's a good thing to everyone. I would love for the whole world to do so.

Yeah well He created them and He loves them and if they ever came to Him He would accept them and forgive their sins and cast it into the sea of forget fullness. That's just the kind of God we serve. All loving, All Powerful and All forgiving.
