I am currently 30 years of age and intend on attending college this spring. I currently work at a warehouse. I wanna go to college to get a better paying job but also to do something I might enjoy. So wanted opinions from people who currently involve themselves in this career field. I was told I would need to go attend a 2 year x-ray tech program than a year for MRI/Cat Scan then I could pratically do anything in that field.
Keep in mind I have no prior knowledge of human anatomy or physiology. I am also an individual who enjoys history but feels maybe studying to a be a history professor could be impratical givin my age and current income. Although will need federal assitance in order to attend any college. Thank you :)

I'm not sure exactly what you want to know. I didn't have any science background before I started, either. There is a lot to learn, but it's doable.

i'm an x-ray tech and my fiance is an EKG tech. My fiance chosen EKG by means of fact it became into something she ought to check in some months on the interior sight wellness center. It has served her properly as a job to get her with the aid of college, yet pay and occupation progression are motives she is only no longer an EKG tech forever. My x-ray tech degree took 2 years of circumstances and then 2 years of x-ray particular training. Others won Bachelors levels by using appearing the must haves and x-ray particular training mutually at a college. To me i've got faith that it became into extra handy to check coronary heart rhythms than getting to understand the Radiologic technologies field. getting to understand to take and study EKG's could be a stable ability to check to aide destiny scientific careers. different get admission to skills to check could be CNA, Phlebotomy, and Laboratory assistant.
