it's weird but when they break up with a girl, and the girl like totally breaks down, they feel so guilty and like sad; and i can promise you that they would have stayed with the girl if he knew that she was going to cry???

because he must love that girl too much and feel like it's their fault to do that. My exboyfriend broke up with me too many times and I just cry and cry because of him and he's always feel guilty about it and always get back together with me, but I just realized that I shouldn't cry over him because he wasn't worth it to make me cry and taking control of my work and my life. So I moved on and I have a loving boyfriend who is always there for me, so It must be that he feel like it's their fault and love her too much for make her cry so much.

Its the protector spirit in the guy. Also no nice guy or gentleman wants a woman to cry.
They may have thought it was going to be quick and easy. They thought that she was thinking the same way and probably wanted to break up. But they were wrong.
I hate to see a woman cry but im not going to stay in a bad relationship. Ill let her cry and thing im the biggest a hole. It will help her recover quicker. I will be the item of her hate. I can live with that

breaking up is a sad event, even if both people know its the right thing to do - expressing the feelings, through crying - helps.. not all men are going to change their minds if a girl cries... that's ridiculous.
if he does, it means he is empathizing with her feelings -- but too much... unless of course the guy is a jerk and just uses girls - in that case, he should feel guilty that he is making them cry all the time and she should let him go.

Probably he feels you like him a lot and noticed that to leave you would not be a good idea. Not to say we usually try to support friends if ones cry for some reason.
Last time a girl broke up with me I just said... "hm ok, so I'll go now. bye!"(calm expression) I just faced the brutal truth as a MAN and gone. The weird thing is that she cried. Now I ask why did she brake up? -.- fk it!!!

its not just during break ups, some guys hate to see a girl have a breakdown in any situation, especially empathetic people
i hate to see a girl cry, except if you are watching a movie or something, then it's a little cute (not sure why)

We have feelings also, im always afraid to break up, no matter for any reason, ive had to many people cry, tooooo many, and all of it was inevidable, i couldnt get past moving, mom made me, i foguht and fought, ive had tons of people cry, i hate it, breaks my heart, i know im a nice guy,and now tons of people are hurt cause of me, i hate it

Hey ima girl and can't stand when people cry men or women.LOL But I think it's cuz they feel like dang didn't know ol' girl was this sprung.LOL But um I think that maybe they just feel for them. I don't think that all guys get like that some expect it to happen. And some want it to just so they can feel like they meant something to you.

Well I've made guys cry before and I always felt really bad about it and ended up cuddling them and telling them they would be okay. So it's just not nice to think that you made someone cry is all.
My boyfriend is so nice to me it makes me cry and he thinks it's adorable, he puts his arms round me and kisses me and keeps saying all those nice things that make me cry... I don't deserve someone so special and caring.
