Just looks like a silver tabby. I have a tabby, she has gray, brown, white, with black stripes. I love cats, I had to put down my other cat (Pooh) of 13 yrs. She had breast cancer, she was my very first cat & I loved her to death. Im trying to find another companion for my other cat (Simba).

First of all, he is adorable, and to me he seems like a purebred barn cat. Meaning he's the equivalent of a mutt. Not in a bad sense mind you, he's just a mix. I have a cat like that, he's the sweetest little thing.

OMG! he looks almost *exactly* like my kitty, Pockets! just a *tiny bit* lighter around the face! (and probably not missing the last segment of his tail like my poor kitty!)
does your kitty look almost metallic cuz he's so shiney, and have hairs that are lighter at the bottom & black at the very tips? (looks like he does) mine even has a bit of that beige tint to him as well... the only white is on his chin...
my cat is just a standard domestic shorthair... i think. i found him & his sister (cute little beige & white kitty) under a bridge one day.
(i'm so flabbergasted at how much he looks like my cat!! seriously, i could probably pass those pics off as my cat!!
i love my kitty, he's the sweetest! and SOO cute!!)

Domestic Shorthair...or DSH. Silver tabby maybe. Just a cat..not a specific breed.

Just your basic melting pot mix of a short-haired cat :D Very cute! Your vet should be able to give you an idea how old he is by looking at his teeth. Good for you for taking him in!

He's just a beautiful silver shorthair tabby.
But he does have some mute fawn in him, which is common in some calico/tortieshell FEMALE cats.
He is male, right?

looks like a DSH silver tabby, generally female. Are you sure it's male?
