You'd think he would have done a better job. The book is an inch and a half thick. Is that all He has to offer?

JT, you're talking to a theologian. I can ask the same of you.

Heavens no.... they claim to hear his voice in their heads too. Which is kind of scary if you think about it. Brings to mind people like Deanna Laney and Andrea Yates.

The Bible is just a collection of people's stories, some including the Apostles and such. But that is not all the stories that were ever written about GOD, but those were the stories that were chosen to be put in to the actual Bible. But the Bible is absolutely crazy full of information! The Bible is full of GOD's words, and we as humans can't even comprehend a whole chapter of a book of the Bible; what GOD is saying, what HE wants us to do, what we are to learn from it, etc. So I think GOD gave us enough, we have pastors and just people that dissect the word of the Bible, and learn new things everyday! Pastors do this as a living, finding the meaning of the Bible, and preaching to congregations.

GOD just didn't just give us HIS book, HE gave us his SON, HIS mercy; HE gave us life.
GOD was the ONE that gave us life, and HE can take that all back if HE wanted. You probably have heard this a ton, but GOD gave HIS only SON so those who believe in HIM shall not perish but have eternal life (heaven), John 3:16. But GOD did not have to do that, HE could have sent us all to hell if HE wanted. But GOD is compassionate and loves all HIS people, so HE offers us everlasting life. Now that is an offer you can't refuse!

It's not how thick the book is but what it contains. It is the guide to living here and the roadmap to eternal peace for those who believe God and eternal horror for those who choose to reject HIm.

All you need to know is there, and if all the other books on earth were destroyed and only the Bible was left it would be enough for the journey we all take in life.

Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

1 Peter 1:23
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

Constantine I decided what scrolls should be put together to form the Bible so of course many precious information was missing.

"And there are also many other things that Jesus did, the which, if they should be written one by one I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written, amen". John 21:25

But you will always have the Book of Mormon if you want to know some of those other things that Jesus did.

The Holy Bible contains everything God had to say. If any answers to mankind's questions are not found within, it was because God decided we didn't need to know.

JOHN 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God

The thicker it is, the more contradictory it will be than it already is.

I write less confusing last minute all-nighter papers than that

LoL, well there is 2 sections of bible, old testament and new testament, most people that follow the old testament discard the new testament and vice versa. But if you read one part you need to read the other to get a clear intake on the bible. I've found that the bible is the origianl word of GOD, but the hands of men and devils have corrupted it and added what they wanted just to fit their own desires/agenda. Read the Quran, it'll explain whats really going on.

The Bible is a Fairy Tale...it's a tough if not impossible read...there shelves of books on how to read and understand it...It is unreliable...yet so many place great value upon it...I call it the Bad Book...They call it the Good Book...ITS A CROCK AND SHOULD BE DISREGARDED!

All I can say is this...

John 21:25
25Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.
