You take a class, join a gym, a hobby/sport of interest to you - naturally, these activities require a mix of men and women...
There are a variety of subjects to take an enrichment course in and a variety of clubs and sports - Sierra Club, bike clubs, sailing clubs. Yeah, people do the bar scene, but it really isn't the greatest way to mean a significant other. -And probably the last best way? -Have a GOOD friend hook you up with someone he/she thinks would be a good match and do the blind date thing...
