At those times when you are at table, dining on a daily basis?

Or Feasting during Holidays, does your mind wander to all those people around the world that may not take for granted a plate of food to be assured you daily, but who must go hungry, perhaps to death?

What about the absurd expenditures which go into warring, and sometimes for the whim of someone or a gov. which initiates an UNNECESSARY war, wasting not only billions of dollars in war equipment, but also the lives of its own youth, and the innocent in foreign countries who unfortunately get caught in the cross fire. Is War expenditure far more meritorious than feeding our own kind? Hmm... How so, may I ask?

Words are one thing! They are very efficacious when said. But I do believe it is very difficult to rid one self of powerful, ruthless oppressors who hold the suffering underfoot. I have witnessed this for myself. Having been born under a dictatorship, and having witnessed the savage oppression of people who were held helpless under this!

I am more concerned with the fact that for decades, billions of dollars in cash and material aid have been dumped onto the African continent from donors worldwide with no positive results. I want an explanation. I want an accounting for where the aid has gone. I want to know why the continent is constantly at war with itself and why the continent is grossly overpopulated and its people are starving in spite of the aid. It is not lack of food that is killing these people. They are killing themselves.

No. The less Capitalism there is in a country, the more hungry the population is. Let them take arms against their suppressors and free themselves from the tyranny that enslaves them to hunger!
