My PS3 froze twice. Yesterday and today. When I play Motostorm, yesterday, during the game online, it freezes. Is it because of the server? Also when, after I played Motorstorm, I plug in a USB and went to the USB icon to download a music video, it freezes and I can't reboot that. Any suggestions of what is happening?

I turned off the information board. I don't even use it. It is useless to me.

I downloaded every update that came out. For some reason, I love downloading firmware updates.

This happens to me every now and then. Just switch it off with the switch in the back, and plug your controller in via USB to turn it back on. You shouldn't lose any data...

Since the firmware is updated regularly, eventually they will iron out all the bugs.

If you have the Information Board turned on that was in the 2.00 update turn it off. The information board was causing a lot of freezing issues. Also, Sony has released a new 2.01 update several weeks ago that resolved the freezing issues while using the information board, so if you haven't downloaded that update, download it.

When I was playing assassin's creed.. It froze, and I couldn't move so I had to reboot it.

I don't know about the USB thing.
Why don't you just connect your laptop to the ps3 or w/e and download it from there.

Turn off the information bar on the top right corner of the screen on the main menu.
