There is no hard and fast rule these days; some people in their twenties act more middle-aged than older ones. I think the idea is to walk the line between acting too young for your age and acting really old. There is nothing attractive about a mature-aged person who acts silly and immature, although the occasional bit of fun is fine - you just have to watch your behaviour as you can look as though you are trying too hard to be still young and with-it. On the other hand, avoid acting and dressing too conservatively as that is very ageing. I guess I would probably tone down the water and snowball fights a bit, join in if you like but not too unrestrainedly, you don't want to look like a big kid.

Different people have a different view on what... "middle age" looks like.
If you want to look younger than 45, then go for the younger looks.
If you want to look more your age, then go for a sophisticated look.
To look younger, side, sweeping bangs across the forehead are a plus. If your hair is a dull color, spice it up with some highlights. Also, dress can really change how a person looks. If you want to be... "hip"... then start shopping at some funky stores. Pick one that has some cute styles and just start wearing them with dark jeans and flats.
If you want to look older, a shorter, layered hairstyle is definitely the way to go. Dress can vary, but personally I enjoy the solid colors. I think that this looks more sophisticated. To you, sophisticated really depends on your personality. I enjoy dressier clothes and people are always telling me that I look about 15 or 16. [I'm 13.] I like dark brown boots that come up to about my knee with some brown tights, a cute, bright, wintery skirt, and a brown top.
Express your personality. Do what you want. Change yourself.
It's always fun to put on a different personality! Go for it!

I would have to say 40 - 60 is middle age in my opinion but I really believe that you are as young as you feel.

You sound pretty awesome.
And who would want to act middle age (not me)
Middle aged is basically just dull and really relaxed to me.
But what do I know I'm only 14 =]

"middle age" has changed since people now live longer than ever before. I don't look/act/feel my age, but then I don't know how I'm supposed to look/act/feel. it feels normal.

You are 'middle aged' when you are half the age of the oldest person you know.
Age is in the heart, you have a young heart, enjoy it!

It is common to need a touch up after the initial tattoo heals. This is included in the cost (although you can tip again if your are pleased). Sometimes black work doesn't completely fill in and needs retouched, or added to because it hasn't healed as solidly as is wanted. Sometimes there is an allergic reaction to an ink (red often), and the body doesn't accept it well the 1st time round, but does fine with it the 2nd time. Sometimes there is a line that needs smoothed out, etc. This is all touch up work. If you want an addition, then this can be done at this time too, but you will be charged for it. enjoy your ink!
