I've been able to pull and check all of my rear bulbs and they are working, except the High Mount Rear Brake Light & assembly located at the top of the Rear Lift gate. Anyone have a similar problem or know how to fix? Can't find screws to take off the light assembly,,,appears to be located under the outer trip panel.

I have also confirmed that the turn signals, hazard signals and back up lamps all work.

Sorry I meant Outer Trim Panel, not trip panel.

Thanks everyone. the two answers I got both lead me to the sensor on the brake pedal which seemed to fix the problem.

does the truck have tilt steering? if it does try moving the steering wheel up and down while your foot on the brake, i had a 2001 f-150 with the same prob and it had tilt steering, and when you tilt down the wiring harness inside the steering colum was comming out of the plug. you might check that.

I think your alternator is fine, but can't be positive unless I were to be able to test it. I think your problem lies in your battery or your starter, but more likely your battery. Sometimes its hard to tell, especially when you are just reading about it, what is wrong with a "no-start" vehicle, that is why when you bring a "no-start" in to a shop, most experienced Techs will do an alternator output test, a battery load test or a capacitance test, and a Starter cranking current and cranking voltage test. All these tests can be performed fairly quickly and will give the tech a better idea of exactly whats going on in your starting and charging system. My suggestion is to have the vehicle diagnosed by a shop with qualified techs, this will save you time and money by not having you guessing what the problem is and replacing things until it goes away.

Probably the stop light switch located on the brake pedal.

hmm check the fuses, that may not be the problem though.. or the brake light connection to your brake pedal might have been severed...
