I think he deserves a job and a green card.
Not deportation.
If more Americans were like him, this country would be a much better place.
If you think about it, he could have easily walked away and left that young child by himself with his dying mother and/or robbed them.

He didn't. He just stayed with him after the kid's mom died.
It was a nice thing to do. I might have forgotten to ask the guy for ID, were I the cop who picked up the kid. I think we don't want to discourage that sort of aid.
But I don't think doing one nice thing is our only requirement for admission to the country or there isn't a person on the planet who could be kept out.

That was a humane thing to do, and the right thing to do. However, he did it while intending to commit a crime by crossing the border illegally, so deportation is the sentence. He should not be allowed in the US simply because he saved a boy.

He did the right thing, but was in the process of doing the wrong thing. He should be escorted back to his own country. Perhaps the family of the child could sponsor him in coming back legally, but otherwise, sorry, he needs to do things the legal way.

He did what every HUMAN on this planet should do. Nothing more and nothing less.
I do not consider him to be a hero - Only a subhuman and evil person could have walked away.
What do you think about the Minutemen who give thirsty illegals water? Many illegals have been in bad condition when they were "saved" by the minutemen.

Hey great....he responded like any human being should have. That's it. He responded like a human. Still doesn't give him a free ride in the US. I personally saved the life of an anchor baby....does that give me citizenship to Mexico? We have Dr's and nurses and kind people all over this great land. Do they get citizenship or money or special favors when they do? Do they get exemptions from other laws broken because they did good once or twice? No....they don't. God gives those awards in the hereafter.....a country doesn't.

I think he is a wonderful honest man. He saved the little boy and ruined his chance of crossing the border for someone else. Even though people are saying on here, he did what everyone would have done. There are still a lot fo crazy people in this world that would have not done a thing.

He did the right thing but that doesn't mean that he should be granted a green card. But in Mexico if he passes a background check and a USA citizen will come forward and give him a job and health insurance for him and his five children maybe a green card is in order

Good kid, Americans do these types of good deeds every day too, and we don't ask for rewards.
