we have been getting nailed with ice and snow and getting to work on time and in one piece has become an art form.
on of my coworkers yesterday was telling us how she kept on saying OMG ,OMG don't let me crash. She ended up
getting hit not once ,but twice last night. (TRUE STORY)
How come that this happened to her in such a fashion?? does God not answer Prayers in desperate situation?

It was a virtual parking lot no room to speed and no room to drive retarded! She was rear ended once and another slit through the intersection and broad sided her!

Proves nothing--
I have much more that proves otherwise..
Like the time I saw wood flying off the back of a truck I was following & Cried out " Oh Lord-- save me! " the wood hit the ground as if it were PUSHED down-- directly in front of my car.
Or-- When my first husband abandoned me & my daughter and I sat there crying --wondering out loud-- Oh Lord how will I ever get the clothes & stroller & car seat I need for my 13 day old baby... I rec'd a call the very next day from an old friend I had not seen in years..she heard I had a baby & offered me all the clothing I could use..as well as a car seat, a stroller AND a playpen!!
Praise God he is good!

some would say she manifested this whole incident herself and should of refrased her affirmation by saying "I am safe" rather then using the word crash that is all that is heard and like attracts like so therefore thats what she attracted. Just a thought I don't know though as far as God answering prayers for her, maybe you could look at it like she isn't hurt to bad at least I don't think she is you didn't really say and that the fact she is still alive means God didn't allow her to die if you know what I mean. cant explain it very well

Just as no evidence can be given that proves God does exist the opposite is true. that is why they call it "Faith".

I asked God for a million dollars and I started finding change on the ground every once in a while. It is too bad I didn't specify I wanted it all at once.
Maybe God thought having another vehicle hit her car wasn't the same as hitting her.

I'm sorry that this had to happen to your friend, but something worse could have happened. Maybe God was saving her by having this happen from maybe even death itself! Never underestimate his power and will.

i think that when starting a quest to learn about God we would first start by assuming that there is a God and there is a reason to search for Him. when we start a quest to search for evidence that He does not exist, we will of course find reasons to back up our beliefs. if you want to change your life into something positive you need to be positive. negative people find negative- that isn't about your friend or God, it is just about the way we can choose to look at things.

Well, you need to understand that it is impossible to prove the non-existance of something. What would be proof that leprachauns do not exist? What would be proof that the flying spaghetti monster does not exist? See, a person can imagine just about anything and there is no way that you can prove that it does not exist. You have to come at it from proof of existance.

So let's say you have the Giants and the Patriots about to play a football game. They both pray to God for a win before the game starts. So who gets it? God's favorite team? The team that prayed the hardest? Or is it the one that tries hardest and wins? Whether or not you believe in God won't affect the outcome, and not every prayer to God is expected to be answered. I'd love to pray to God for a million dollars but assuming he existed he is not required to give it to me. Your friend can pray for no accidents all she wants, God is not required to give it to her.

Cynicism doesn't establish proof. Random chaos happens, bad things happen to good people, and vice versa. The deist argument might be that "She has a lesson to learn from this set of unfortunate circumstances, therefore it HAD to happen", whereas the atheist stance would be "Shi* happens".
