Golden Compass most certainly is a work of fiction. However the Bible is the word of G-d.

Keep in mind young one that the bible knew about our Earth's shape way before general society. That's one aspect that constitutes non-fiction.

That is true, I do not understand why SO many people (Christians AND atheists alike) are b1tching about it. It's annoying...if you don't like it don't go to it or let your kids go to it. Simple as that!
