And Adam was not tricked, but the woman was tricked and became a sinner. But ***she will be saved through having children*** if she continues in faith, love, and holiness, with self-control.

Emphasis mine

First of all, Child Birth is not a means of salvation. The verse you are using was not being used in such a context at all. I won't defend the point you are making, but rather clear up a point that you missed.

SIN itself does not send you to hell. There is a particular sin that sends you to hell. That is the rejection of Jesus Christ and his death on the cross, which was a payment for your sins.

You will pay for your sin no matter what, the wages of sin is death. You can accept the payment now, and in return allow him to live through you, or you can pay it yourself.

There is no scale in Heaven of your good and bad. A clay pot with a crack across the bottom is still a cracked pot, it is garbage unless the potter repairs it. Even so, one mess up makes you a sinner, and therefore guilty of sin.

This is why I take many scriptures with a grain of salt. Pretty much the whole tome is misogynistic. It was written by men for men, basically. I know I will get thumbs-down, but I can't seriously follow a book that calls me unclean because I have a monthly cycle.

14And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner. 15But women will be saved through childbearing—if they continue in faith, love and holiness with propriety. thats the actual quote, and its not meant to be taken literally, i think its more the continuing in love, faith, holiness and propriety part that is important.

yea, well your emphasis is totally wrong and thank God for that.

its also VERY sad how people will actually believe the crap you spew out instead of look up the passage for themselves. if that's not ignorance i don't know what is.

and they call Christians uneducated *rolls eyes*

1 Timothy 2:14-15 (New International Version)

14 And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner.

15 But women[a] will be saved[b] through childbearing—if they continue in faith, love and holiness with propriety

That is the stupidest, most ignorant thing I ever heard of.

Your emphasis is entirely wrong. This refers to EVE....ONE woman. She was saved.

Nowhere in the Bible is it stated that a woman will go to hell if she is unmarried or if she does not have children.

Believe in Jesus; accept Him; go to Heaven.

That is basic Christianity.

Honey, i wouldn't be too surprised if I ended up in hell but it won't be because i was infertile or unmarried.

Twisting and perverting scripture is the devil's job so you must be working for him - perhaps you just aren't spiritually alive enough to realize he is your Master and you are his slave.

Typical example of someone twisting the Bible to suit his needs. It`s interpreted as having self control or morales. And yes a woman childless or unmarried may still enter heaven, read more of the bible please. But it`s a great thing Eve did have children, your here now:)

I guess by that passage I'd have been doomed so it's a good thing I don't care what it says. I think it's a crime to give a woman social validity only through her ability to procreate.

Methinks you have inserted the word "only" in between the words will and be.
