i would go with option 2 the only reason is i still have alot of things that i wanna do in my life and it would be sad to die at the age of 40 i wanna live my life at its fullest damn i'll be real luck to even reach the age of 85

i would choose option two and commit suicide at 88. thats more than enough time to live. i think 40 is cutting it way too short. i guess it depends what you are talking about dying of that would cause you pain. if the pain didnt set in till later i would just ride it as long as i could, make a will ahead of time, and do what i had to do.

Option number 2.
Cause if the pain is too hard to support, I can always do a suicide but at least I wouldve lived a long and fulfilling life.

IF " God" or anyone for that matter, told me to make such a choice, I'd tell Him or anyone else to take a hike off a short cliff. That is a ridiculous choice.

I'd go for #1, its better to die instantly so you won't feel pain.

I prefer option one.
Quality of life is more important than longevity.
