Both or rather none - God never speaks or writes.
Both books are human creations.

I don't have any problem with new inspiration. It just has to agree with the old stuff. Muslims claim the Qu'ran is like the
new new testament. And that we can believe whatever is in the Bible, as long as it agrees with the Qu'ran. Here is the main problem with that. Paul specifically lays out that the gospel about Jesus that has been preached is the entire truth. Anything that disagrees with it, is a lie.
"But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed" (Galatians 1:8-9).
An ANGEL from heaven! That is like one of those movies where they tell a kid to lock the doors and no let anyone in, even if they say they are the police, or friends of their parents, or if they say they are their parents! But what does the Qu'ran do? Knock Knock Knock... Please open the door, I have urgent news. I am a friend of your parents.
There is nothing they can say. The door is locked. I was told that Jesus died for me, was raised, as is coming to take me home. NO OTHER GOSPEL IS TRUTH. The warning was too strong to make me question it.

the Qu'ran has a scripture which says to observe the holy scriptures of the Bible
The Bible does not have a scripture to say observe the words of the Qu'ran
My guess is the Bible is the word of God as it came first :)

I believe the bible is the word of God. Many people will answer differently. It all depends on how you were brought up, where you live and personal beliefs. I won't tell anyone they are wrong in their beliefs as long as I get treated with the same respect.

This is but one point of view.
A number of scholars are agreed that Mohammed was influenced by certain teachings on Christianity.
http://allthings2all.blogspot.com/2005/02/quran-plagiarism-of-bible-and.html
AD 610 (the approximate date of the beginning of his prophetic mission)
http://www.answers.com/topic/qur-an
Muhammad came some 600 + years after Christ.
We Both believe in the same God but we both do not agree was Jesus or Muhammed the actual savior. I think that's right!
It's like the difference between what Jews believe and Christians believe. It all boils down to one MAN! Because we all believe in the God Of Abraham. What is many times forgotten is the Jew and Arabs are cousins..Go figure!
That comes because (as I believe) when the 2 1/2 tribes did not cross over to the promised land.
This is what confounds me why Christians, Jews and Muslims are so apparently hateful towards each other.
Semitic Races
http://www.fromoldbooks.org/Wood-NuttallEncyclopaedia/s/semiticraces.html
My answer is we better all start changing our attitudes before God comes down to smite us all.
PS I don't know which is correct
Muhammed/Muhammad or Mohammed I can't figure that out.

Both.
The old and new Testaments of the Bible are the first 2 parts of The Book, and the Koran is the 3rd.
They all bare the marks of the One Author and are entirely in harmony.

"bible.
BEHEAD NON BELIEVERS?"
WELL.... WHO IS GETTING INTOLERANT OVER HERE???????????????
Looking into the answers I find many speaking about the Bible being the word of God and some stand for Quran....
If its got to have a check then it is better that we l;ook into the verses of both of them and try to fetch the right answer...rather than sticking to your faith that you were fed in Childhood. The books are there and the people are reading them too but yet they find different answers...Whats the Matter is their neutrality and their desire to get the right info. rather than trying to prove that they are right.

It's not good to judge which book is the word of God coz there are some people might get offened, big time, anyway i would say both, because they are both Holy to both religions and its important to them and for most people have respect for other religions.
