Her Daddy, George, really thinks nothing of sending our sons and daughters to be killed. Not his kids though.
If the Bush's really believed in the 'protect our land' act, wouldn't both daughters be active in the armed forces? Or at the very least not be seen out partying and pushing their successes.

Kids don't volunteer to be killed and the recuiters lie to them to get them to join.

Hey, Weight, you seem to have a problem hearing the truth.

Hey, Scotty, you and Georgie should get together. You both are good at name calling.

Linda, it is obvious you have big problems. You should see a shrink.

I think you all missed the point. I got some really abusive answers. I guess that is the sort of people that would disagree with this issue.

You can't force your kids to join the military you arrogant ignorant pos!

Also, think of this one, there are congress men and women who support the war and have kids in the military. What do you have to say about that?

And who is weight? And its not that I have a problem hearing the truth but you have a problem telling the truth.

I am not responding to your question but am responding to your quote "Kids don't volunteer to be killed and the recuiters lie to them to get them to join."

I enlisted in the military... I am a young female... it has nothing to do with my recruiter. As a matter of fact over half of the people who enlist seek out the recruiter, not the other way around.

My family has a PROUD history of military service, and since I was a little girl I planned on continuing that history. I WANT to serve my country, believe it or not. I WANT to serve... so you dont have to. I WANT to serve... so you can have the freedom to sit in America comfortable in your bed and talk a lot of mess about things you dont know or understand.

My family has had someone fight in both World Wars, VietNam, Desert Storm... you name it, they have been there... and guess what NONE of them would take it back!!!! My dad just got back from Iraq. He actually enjoyed his time there. Was it hard? Yes. Was it more than anything most of the civilians, or you, could handle? Yes. Would he do it again? Yes. And I am sooooo excited to follow along in his footsteps. Always have been.

The military... even though it "sends our sons and daughters off to war"... takes CARE of those who serve. I know from personal experience! :) It also happens to be the reason you are able to get on this website and post a nonsense question like this....... try saying something like that about the government if you lived in a different country and see what happens to you! Ha.

Arrogant??????

No, that would be you. And ungrateful.

Oh yeah.... and FREE.

Amazing isnt it?!

Hey btw, if Bush forced his daughters to be active in the armed forces... as you put it that he should.... then that would be violating THEIR freedom.

I voted today that YES OUR COUNTRY SHOULD HAVE A DRAFT sooooo people like you can understand the price of freedom!!!! .... I hope they start a draft.... and I hope you get drafted.... then you will learn some appreciation and respect!!!

Feel free to email me! :)

God Bless!

Support the troops!!! Hoorah!

Lou, what business is it of yours that she publishes a book? If you don't want to read it, don't buy it. Same with any other books.
I don't agree with most of Bush's 'policies' but last time I looked all those VOLUNTEER soldiers (marines, airmen and seamen too btw, or did you not know there are more servicemembers than just soldiers?) were defending you're right to spew absolute drivell.
Jenna Bush didn't run for office, nor did she VOLUNTEER for the armed forces, but then again, from the way your question is posed, nor did you ........are you a coward? Or just haven't a clue what you're talking about? I've done my 20 years of military service, and have EARNED the right to call you a coward and an idiot. So piss off now and leave this disabled veteran to enjoy INTELLEGENT opinions instead of rants

A) I don't recall ever hearing that President Bush denied his daughter permission to join the military.

B) What's the difference between Jenna Bush promoting a book and anyone else? She did not start the war, nor has she had anything to do with it. In case you forgot, the President's name is George, not Jenna.

She's not Bush. how do you even know that Jenna really believes everything her father is doing is right? not to mention he can't force them to join the military. and the "kids bush is sending to get killed" are volunteering for it. they walk into the office and they sign the paper. it's their fault if they believe everything the recruiter tells them. they should research it more. what does celebrating her life's successes have to do with people dying anyway? the only relation Jenna Bush has to the war is her father, and they are two different people with their own lives and ideas

So. You think that Jenna would have better served by donning a uniform than by working with AIDS victims in Africa?

I'm sorry, but I can't agree. If she isn't specifically and particularly motivated to join then I don't want her, or anyone else that isn't, in the service with me.

We're all volunteers. You don't seem to grasp that. And as such you'll never understand the strenght that comes from that simple basic fact.

As for you, there are some folks that will, at least, be able to say that they shoveled s**t in Lousiana during the war. How about you?

So LOU, you have any sons or daughters in the military, Jenna is entitled to bush her book without retarded questions like this being posted.

No both daughters would not be active in the Armed forces when its a volunteer force, you need to look up the word to see what it means

So if Hillary wins, she has to get Chelsea to join the military or she is unable to preform as Commander in Chief (Iwe already know she hates the military and would suck at it)

Sir, in truth it would be nice to see a political official's chldren be active members of the armed forces. But seriously, I doubt that will happen. Every person that joins the military, makes that decision themself. No one is forced to join. There is no draft, no conscription. It's an all volunteer military. Recruiters are no longer allowed to lie to potential enlistees, at least not outright. They bend the truth a little, but most people in the military will tell you they are glad they joined.

Your question or RANT has nothing to do with MILITARY.

Ms. Bush who lives in the USA which is a democracy can do whatever she wants. And that includes writing books and going to parties.

There is no law or regulation requiring any Political peoples families to serve in the ALL volunteer Military Forces of the USA.

So get a life and stop whining like a baby!!

Wrong there is no voluntary services, when you enlist ilegal with the promise of a green Card, killers and criminal from jails, when you enlist a poor, middle class people unemployed and no Future in the Country of the opportunity (?) of course the Rich no need to go to War ! is allways the scums of society, poor fellows that have no very much choices in their lives, the trash and morons.-
That's what Jenna and any rich kids will think, none of the republikan kids are going to wars, see Dick Chenney or any Leaders, but send the army of Morons.-
That's exactly what Fidel Castro told Bush, if there is any War we Won't see Each other, because I Will be in the Battlefields, fist line of duties, but you Bush ..Chenney...? probably in their Bunkers deep into mountains or Enterprise Ships, or the airfarce one, while they send the "Suckers".-
I'm right or Wrong ??? The true is outthere !!
