You need to talk to him about it! I keep saying this to these kind of questions, but the key to a good relationship is communication! Find out the deal with the guy! Let him know you know what he did and that you're not going to let him get away with it! If he doesn't seem sorry for his actions or if you suspect him again, get rid of him!

Just go up to him and be like, how was she?
If he lies, lie back. ie, if he says what do you mean?, then say "i didn't say anything." and walk away. It'll drive him crazy, and chances are you'll eventually get his side of the story one way or another.
