I just had a solicitor from RATE REDUCTION CENTER, in houston, texas call me just now. I'm on the do not call list and when asked who she was calling for she said anyone in the home who has a VISA card. She was offering to get us lower interest rates. Now I wasn't born yesterday, so I asked for some company info. She gave me the number to a phone sex hotline.
I called the BBB in Houston texas and they have no record of this company.
Does anyone else report shisty businesses to the BBB???

in case some don't know: BBB=better business bureau
and I would never give info over the phone to anyone!!!!!

you can also report them to the Federal Trade Commision at www.ftc.gov

I give the company a chance to redem themselves and then I go to the BBB. You should post this on ripoffreport.com too! Just in case someone out there isn't so smart.

Yes I report them as well as being as obnoxious back to them. I figure if they want to bother me I should be able to bother them right back or hang up on them.
