Assuming you're not needing 40 foot cables, there's no reason to buy monster cables or any other "super" cables. HDMI signals are digital and not subject to the same interference effects as analog signals. Wallmart has some good prices. Here's some links.

DO NOT BUY MONSTER CABLES!!! If anything, follow that advice.

HDMI transfers a digital signal, so the only real difference between a $100 cable and a $4 one is the connectors and durability as long as it is less than 20 feet in length. You can look at monoprice.com which has some very cheap HDMI cables (I myself would not go super cheap, but mid-range), or if you want it now you can go to somewhere like Target or Wal-Mart and pay somewhere between $25 and $40 for a good cable. Good luck and have fun.

I second BlueJeans and MonoPrice.

I use the thinner MonoPrice cables to feed a HDMI switch with short runs. Then I use the more industrial BlueJeans cable ($38) for the 12 ft run to the TV.
