I have a sanyo digital camera model vcp 503 and i am having trouble, help please!!!!!?

the lense of the camera closes when i turn it on and opens when i shut it off, so therefore i cannot take pictures, please help me if you have any answers!!! it has 3x superzoom, if that helps any??

Have you dropped it? It sounds as though it has some internal problem. Have you tried replacing the battery?

Since repairs will cost more than a new camera, use the Sanyo as a paperweight and buy a Canon or Nikon or Olympus or Sony or Kodak or Pentax to replace it.
