Please read all of this. I didn't go to school Monday or today because I was sick and vomiting. Today, I went to the doctor and I have a viral infection. I'm using cough syrup with codeine in it. I for got what it's called. The nurse said that I'm not really contagious BUT if I have a bad cough tomorrow morning to not go to school. Even if I do have a bad cough tomorrow morning, the cough medicine would probably get rid of it. She said to definitely not go to school if I'm vomiting. What should I do? Explain please.

He did blood work and said that my white blood count was high and that everything was kind of high and that meant that my body was getting rid of the viral infection and the germs.

stay home until you are well, viral infections spread just as easily as bacterial infections, you do no one any favors exposing them to your illness.

If you have a viral infection, you can transmit it to others. Stay home until you are completely recovered. The cough medicine may be promethazine with codeine (Phenergan with codeine). Phenergan won't "get rid" of your cough but it along with the codeine will suppress it.

Couching spread germs, do everyone a favor and stay home. You need the rest. Have someone make you some good chicken soup with lots and lots of veggies.

stay home until u feel 100% better dnt drag urself to school if u feel terrible even if its not that contagious ur friends or classmates can still get it.
