I get the mocking part (Mock...Ing...Bird).
I dont get the last time bit....I can assure my nuclear bomb is not set to go off today; the end of the world aint today.
Ungodly lusts? Well I am LUSTING for a Gingerbread Latte...and I am LUSTING to go volunteer tomorrow and devote my free time to help others. Oh how ungodly of me...oh there's that mock...ing...bird again.

If it helps you sleep better at night, there was a common code used during the time of Revelation which was used to turn names into numbers. One of the most hated emporers of the time was Caligula, who converted the temple of Jerusalem into a shrine to himself as a living god. if you encrypted his name, it became "666." Also, a different spelling of his name turned up "626," which is the number used in a very early copy of Revelation which was found not too long ago. So John of Patmos (author of Revelation), who hated the Romans because they banished him, wasn't warning people about future demons, but the Roman demons they were already dealing with. I think your "hedonistic" ways are OK for now.
